Vladimir Tkachyov signed to contract extension

Avangard Hockey Club has signed forward Vladimir Tkachyov to contract extension through the 2029/30 season.

- Avangard’s current position is not what the fans are used to. That is why a number of steps have been taken to improve the team’s roster, and we see that it has already been producing some result. Before the trade deadline, our club needs to make the team salary cap compliant. Thus we started negotiations with Vladimir Tkachyov, who met us halfway and agreed to a significant change in the terms of his contract for the current season. In our turn, Avangard extended Tkachyov’s contract for another season. We thank the player for the constructive dialogue during the negotiations. We are looking forward to seeing Vladimir on ice, especially since his recovery is in full swing, and the prognosis is favorable.
