Guy Boucher and Dave Barr to coach Avangard for two more years

Avangard hockey club has signed coaches Guy Boucher and Dave Barr to a two-year contract extension. This was announced by the club’s General Manager Alexei Sopin today at the press conference:
- I am very pleased to officially confirm that Guy Boucher and Dave Barr will stay with Avangard for at least two more seasons. I think this is great news, because it speaks of consistency, understanding of where we are heading in the next two years. Guy also intends to keep his entire coaching staff. We are now in negotiations with the coaching staff members.
Beyond that, Alexei Sopin announced that goalie Ilya Proskuryakov, defensemen Yegor Voronkov, Evgeny Kulik, Sergei Boikov, as well as forwards Emil Galimov, Ilya Kablukov, Ryan Spooner and Mark Verba will leave Avangard.
