Avangard signs Marsel Ibragimov to contract extension

Avangard Hockey Club has signed defenseman Marsel Ibragimov to a two-year contract extension.

- Since joining our team, Marsel Ibragimov has hit the ground running, proving his worth and earning his spot in the lineup. As a reliable, hard-nosed defenseman, he has fit seamlessly into Guy Boucher’s system. I’d also like to highlight his commitment. While playing for Omsk, Marsel Ibragimov has appeared in 48 games, recording 8 (2+6) points with a minus-3 rating. His two-year contract extension runs through May 31, 2028.
