Avangard Hockey Club has signed defenseman Kirill Adamchuk to a three-year contract.
Alexei Sopin, Avangard HC General Manager:
- Kirill Adamchuk is our first offseason addition. He is a big, physical defenseman who can also contribute offensively. Remarkably, Kirill hasn’t missed a single official game over the last two seasons. We hope to see that streak continue here with Avangard. I believe we managed to sign a top-tier defenseman from the free-agent market. I want to welcome Kirill to the team and wish him the best of luck with his new club.
The 32-year-old defenseman has appeared in 397 KHL games, registering 69 points (17 goals, 52 assists) and a plus-16 rating. Last regular season, Adamchuk ranked third in the league with 197 hits to his credit.
