Yegor Afanasyev joins Avangard

Avangard Hockey Club has signed forward Yegor Afanasyev to a two-year contract.
Alexei Sopin, Avangard HC General Manager:
“Ever since we acquired Yegor’s rights, we’ve stayed in close contact with him, working hard to bring him back from North America. We are happy that the desire was mutual. Yegor is a forward with a great shot and elite finishing ability. I am confident he will bring serious firepower to our offense. We want to wish Yegor the absolute best of luck!”
The deal with the forward runs through May 31, 2028.
Afanasyev will wear number 11 for Avangard.
