Corban Knight scored Avangard’s 12 000th goal

Avangard forward Corban Knight scored the 12 000^th goal in the history of the club in the national championships in a game against Dinamo Minsk on September 5 to tie the game 3:3.

The first goal of the team called Spartak back then was scored by defenseman Anatoli Komarov. It happened on December 25, 1955 in a game against Spartak Novosibirsk (5:2).

The 1000^th goal was scored in Omsk by Viktor Litvinov on January 19, 1965 in a game against Salavat Yulaev (6:0).

The 5000^th goal was scored by Igor Dyakiv, who lighted the lamp on March 28, 1986 in Sverdlovsk in a game against SKA (1:3).

On November 4, 2011, forward Roman Chervenka scored the 10 000^th goal in the history of the club in a game against Dinamo Riga (4:1). Chervenka received a memorable gift presented by Anatoli Komarov.
