Avangard and CSKA make a trade
Avangard Hockey Club has traded defenseman Christian Jaros to CSKA for 24-year-old defenseman Dmitry Alexeyev. The Avangard newcomer is signed to a two-way contract valid until the end of the season.
Alexeyev played 3 KHL games for CSKA (0+1) and 25 VHL games for Zvezda (3+4) in the 2022/23 season.
Rashid Khabibulin, Avangard General Manager:
- We have had a talk with Christian about his further career, CSKA were showing interest, so given Jaros’ family situation, we decided that this trade would be the best option. Alexeyev is a talented player signed to a two-way contract, we count upon him for the future. We wish Christian good luck, there are still a few days left before the deadline, so we continue to work on making some additions to the lineup before the decisive stage of the season. Hopefully, there will be more news.
Alexeyev will be wearing number 4 in Avangard.
