Alexei Seliverstov joins Avangard’s coaching staff

Avangard Hockey Club has signed Alexei Seliverstov to a one-year contract to work as the assistant strength and сonditioning сoach.

Seliverstov is a Merited Master of Sports in bobsleigh. He was a member of the Russia Olympic team over a span of 14 years. Alexei participated in Nagano 1998 and Salt Lake City 2002 Winter Olympics, won a silver medal at Turin 2006 Olympics. He has been working for professional hockey teams since 2009: was a conditioning coach with Toros (2009-2013), Salavat Yulaev (2015-2017), Vityaz (2018-2021) and Avtomobilist (2021-2023).
