Alexei Solovyov back with Avangard

Avangard Hockey Club has signed defenseman Alexei Solovyov to a two-year contract. Solovyov played for our team in the 2020/21 season and became a Gagarin Cup champion.

Last season, Alexei played 66 games for Admiral, scored 20 (6+14) points.

- We know Solovyov well, he is an excellent example of strong work ethic – in terms of preparing for games, the training process, and behavior in the locker room. He was wearing the captain's 'C' in Admiral, that speaks volumes. Alexei has grown as a player, gained confidence and is a solid defenceman able to play well on both sides of the puck.

Solovyov will be wearing number 24.
