Alexander Yaremchuk returns to Avangard

Avangard Hockey Cub has acquired forward Alexander Yaremchuk from Vityaz in exchange for monetary compensation. The player is signed to a three-year, one-way contract.

In the 2023/24 KHL season, the forward played 61 games for Vityaz, scored 13 goals and was credited with 11 assists.

Anton Kuryanov, Avangard General Manager:
- We know Alexander Yaremchuk well since he played for our team when we were in Balashikha. He is a skilled well-coached player who has worked with Hartley and gained experience playing on top lines of Vityaz. The time has come for him to take a step forward, both we and the player himself understand it, and he has every possibility of doing it. Yaremchuk is capable of capitalizing on scoring chances, but most importantly, he is a team player, a man of character with a winning mentality. We are glad to have him back with Avangard.

Alexander Yaremchuk will be wearing number 85 in Avangard.
