Avangard signs Alexei Makeyev

Avangard Hockey Club has signed forward Alexei Makeyev to a one-year contract.

Last season, Makeyev played for Avtomobilist, he scored 42 (20+22) points in 84 games and was plus-19.

- Our goal was to bolster the offense and bring in a good addition to the team. Makeyev scored quite a number of points last season, he has what it takes to be both a goalscorer and a playmaker. His plus/minus stat shows that he is a team player, ready to work hard in all the three zones. He is great at converting chances, and most importantly, he has a combative spirit. Alexei is a bronze medalist of the previous season and is determined to win. His skills and commitment will be of benefit to our team.

Makeyev will be wearing number 57 in Avangard.
