Avangard Hockey Club has signed defenceman Anton Belov to a one-year contract.

In the 2021-22 season Belov played 28 games for Dynamo Moscow and scored 7 (2+5) points with a +9 plus/minus rating.

- With Alexei Emelin leaving the team, we needed an experienced defenceman who could become a leader in the locker room. In addition, Anton reads the game well, uses his size defending the slot, and is good at defensive positional plays. He will certainly set an example of professional attitude for young players. I am sure that Belov will cope with his role in Avangard perfectly well.

Belov will wear number 77 in Avangard.
