Avangard Hockey Club has made a trade with Sibir and signed forward Nikolai Prokhorkin who played for our team in the 2021/22 season. The Novosibirsk club received monetary compensation.

Nikolai Prokhorkin is signed to a contract through the current season.

This season, the forward played 39 games for Sibir and scored 24 (8+16) points.

- We know Prokhorkin well from playing for Avangard, he is an experienced pro, a center who knows how to jell well together with his linemates and be effective both offensively and defensively. He will help us with faceoffs and power play. Competition among team’s centers is rising, we believe it will benefit us.

Prokhorkin will be wearing number 9 in Avangard. The player joined our team in Novosibirsk and will go on the road for games in Astana and Togliatti.
