Avangard signs Joseph Cecconi to contract extension

Avangard Hockey Club has signed defenseman Joseph Cecconi to a one-year contract extension.

- Joseph faced some adversity last season after getting injured during the summer. However, he showed real character and adjusted to the league’s style of play. We really like what he brings to our team, which made coming to an agreement on a new deal a quick and easy process. Cecconi loves everything about the KHL and the country. I’m sure he will be even stronger next season and will keep bringing joy to our fans.
Joseph Cecconi played 73 games for Avangard, scored 21 (3+18) points with a +14 rating. The new contract runs through May 31, 2027.
