Kirill Panyukov joins Avangard

Avangard Hockey club has acquired 26-year-old forward Kirill Panyukov from Ak Bars in exchange for compensation. Panyukov is signed to a three-year contract. In the 2022/23 season, the forward played 68 games for the Kazan team, scored  15 (9+6) points and had plus-17.

– Panyukov is a disciplined skilled forward, a good shooter. He knows how to fulfill coaches’ tasks. The fact that he shoots rights will allow our team to have additional options on the power play. Signing  Panyukov will increase competition for roster spots, we expect this player to demonstrate his character and skills in the upcoming season.
